With a show like Supernatural, it’s high time having been the fifth season, renewing to the ninth might seem like a stretch – but this morning, Supernatural absolutely blew my mind, delivering one of the best episodes I’ve ever seen.
Best opening credits they could’ve made – also confirming that, YES, we’ll be seeing a lot of angels this season.
Five minutes into the episode, I was bawling. Dean isn’t cut out to ask for help, but he would do anything for his brother – and the fact he didn’t ask Cas for help with Sam but rather wanted him there, to make sure he’s okay, will definitely haunt my dreams. The scene of Dean them praying to any angel that might hear him was the most powerful in the entire episode. A big bonus is that the new angels were cool, just like in season 5 – which I consider the best one yet. I think we’re going to have fun with Ezekiel’s character in this season, especially since it breakes yet another boundary. Some people say Ezekiel is Dean’s Ruby and regarding what Dean once said to Sam about “how far from human, from normal” he’s gone, there are certainly parallels.
Misha Collins being back as a main character was the best part of this season even before the season premiere but seeing him, exploring his first human moments and the probable story arc for Cas, it got even better. I can’t wait to see more of him1 and I’m counting on human Cas meeting the Winchesters to be an epic scene. And for what it’s worth, I’m intrigued by the season 9 premiere and am already counting days for episode 2.
What to look forward to: Crowley’s return (since Dean has the King of Hell in his trunk, going back to the bunker (and maybe a Winchester-Cas reunion) and the fallen angels’ human moments.
Highlights:
- Dean banishing the angels
- Sam’s triple personality was perfect
- Death paid a visit
- Cas at the laundromat
- The small orgasm watching Cas drink water

Seega mingi paar osa ongi ainult vaatamata, super! 😀
Superkihvt, saab siis varsti s9 kohta muljetama hakata? 😀
AWESOME!
:DD
I still love this show even after 9 years. I can’t believe it’s been 9 years. Every year I start out thinking this show has lasted too long. It’s time to go, but then the writers show up and do their jobs. They manage to freshen it up every year.
This was my first year feeling this way because I finished watching the series right before season 8. But they do, actually, manage that! Thanks for stopping by 😉

Woohoo, I still need to watch this one. The opening credits look great!
Ooh, do watch it! And yes, they really-really do 😀 I was seriously blown away. And really happy. I can never have too many SPN angels… 😉
