- I don’t recall having seen any films this week. WTF. (Also: see above.)
- I really don’t know what to say. This week has escaped me. I’ll figure something out.
- While I’m not in love with 2 Broke Girls season 3, I’ve rewatched some of the first season and I’m finding myself loving it even more now – and appreciating it more, too.
- How I Met Your Mother is so, so good. I do not understand why people moan about this season, it’s been great, even if far–fetched at times. What Barney did in the last episode – ahhhh.
- We’re also nearing the show’s 200th episode, titled “How Your Mother Met Me”. Craig Thomas said “to me, more than anything else, episode 200 is why we did season 9” and it’s going to be from the Mother’s perspective. It’s supposed to be legendary. (Pun, if tangible, intended.)
- And what is this about a spin–off series I hear? Late to the party once again? The pilot – at least – is coming and I’m excited, especially since they have enough respect for HIMYM to completely wrap it up and make the new (possible) series a different thing. I have great hopes for How I Met Your Dad, really.
- Oh, and guess what shows finally had great episodes? Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries – and of course, since they were the midseason finales, both were enormous cliff-hangers.
- I love Christmas. And over the day, staring at my header, I actually started to really like it. What do you guys think?
- For those of you who have read Game of Thrones, Sati shares 15 things she’s looking forward to in future seasons
- Mark reviews One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest
- JJames reviews Sunlight Jr.
- Dan reviews Pearl Harbor
- I review nothing because I’m a loser who doesn’t see films
- Jess reviews Nebraska
- Ryan announces the 2014 Blind Spot Series (which I’m also participating in – see my last post!)
Thanks for the shout out!
And zero movies in a week doesn’t make you a loser. It just means you’ll need to catch up in the weeks to come. 😉
Sure thing! And yeah, might also be true. That’s the plan, anyway. 😉
Thanks for the linkage! By the way, seeing zero movies in a week does not make anywhere close to being a loser. But a person who watches more than 9 or 10 a week, totally is! That was me I was referring to, by the way.
Sure, Dan! And hahahaha, I don’t know about, I think it’s admirable. 😉
And here my feelings were almost crushed Dan! 😛 You know, some weeks are better than others!
Hahaha, yep. 😉
I skipped this week’s TVD, I guess I should watch it? Because I was planning on giving up on that show. It just doesn’t interest me anymore. But you know what was brilliant? The Originals!! Honestly I loved the last episode, it was perfection.
I’m planning on watching all of Originals now that everything’s on hiatus and I’ve only heard good, so I’m excited! Haven’t watched it past the pilot… And well, TVD was definitely better than the previous episodes, though I think this season just sucks – it’s way too… all over the place.
Yeah, it definitely lost its focus, it’s just a mess. And when it’s not “innovating” it comes back to the same old themes, it’s getting a bit old and tiresome. But I’m glad you have The Originals ahead, I hope you enjoy it. There really are some awesome episodes.
Zero movies in a week happens even to the most dedicated film buff. I plan on doing that once I hit my goal of one movie per day (at least 6 or so to go) and after finals are done this week.
The Vampire Diaries’ mid-season finale is next week!! The episode is called Fifty Shades of Grayson. I think I’ve an idea what will happen… LOL
Oh, damn! Well, count me in on being excited then! 😉
thanks for the link! I really need to start watching 2 broke girls, I love Kat Dennings!
Thank you kindly for the linkage there Elina. Much obliged 🙂
🙂 teehee nice post! 😛 It happens, people get busy! I do like your header!
Aw, thanks!! 😉
thanks for the link! I totally get you on the dry movie spell. I go through them every once in awhile – especially when I’m caught up in a TV show. I am a few episodes behind in HIMYM but I like this season too! I’ve seen a lot of people not liking it, but I still like just hanging out with the characters. I love all the flash forwards with the mother. They so nailed that casting.
I think she’s just perfect, too! And god, I don’t even want to know how many films I watched while I was seeing Breaking Bad (you could probably count it on one hand’s fingers…) Thank you for stopping by!
Love the new header! 🙂
Aw, thanks Katy! Glad you do!
I need to catch up with Vampire Diaries if you say its awesome cliff hangers, especially since I’ve really loved the past 2 seasons 🙂
The first two seasons or seasons 2 and 3? Because holy crap, season 3 is one of my favourite seasons of any shows. And while season 4 is not good, imho, I did like the previous episode a lot. 😉 It reminded me of the earlier, better episodes haha. But I don’t know, even at its worst TVD is worth watching. (The cast is insanely hot, okay? :D)
Haha! The hot cast really helps in its low times but it is totally awesome. One of the few that I own all of the seasons 🙂 TVD & Ian Somerhalder is just way too awesome!
